Hard at work filming the last few episodes of the season, the cast of “Glee” was spotted in Times Square earlier today (April 25).
Co-stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Heather Morris, and Ashley Fink could be seen rehearsing a dance routine and waving to nearby fans while Cory Monteith and Chord Overstreet were also on-set.
Exact plot details surrounding the Big Apple set remains under wraps, however Lea’s excitement was not, as she took to her Twitter to write, “Now it’s time to get movin because my dream of shooting Glee in NYC is finally coming true! Hope u r ready NYC…Miss Rachel Berry is here!!”
Meanwhile, you can catch the cast going Gaga as “Glee” airs its “Born This Way” episode tomorrow (April 26) on FOX at 8pm ET.

“Ladies We Love: Heather Morris”
“Well, my best guy friends have always been queens,” Heather Morris says, her face breaking into a wide grin. The 24-year-old known for stealing scenes as Brittany, the ditzy cheerleader on Fox’s blockbuster Glee, is trying to pinpoint the moment she realized the effect she has on gay fans. “But now whenever I go out to a gay bar, guys scream, ‘Oh, my God! I’m obsessed with you!’ ”
Anonymity might be a thing of the past — even in dance class, where Morris escapes on her rare days off. “I was leaving class and was sweaty as hell,” she recalls, “and there were people waiting there, asking to take a photo with me. I said, ‘OK, if you don’t mind that I look like shit.’ ”
Actually, it was Morris’s willowy good looks coupled with her dazzling dance moves that took her from Scottsdale, Ariz., to begin touring the world as a backup dancer for Beyoncé, who jokingly referred to Morris as her “token white girl.” Morris was later brought in by Glee’s choreographer to teach the cast how to perform their rendition of “Single Ladies” and was soon cast as one of the show’s Cheerios.
Originally, Brittany and her acid-tongued BFF Santana (Naya Rivera) were peripheral characters. But as their chemistry grew, so did their screen time—as well as speculation that the girls share more than pompoms. Morris says both actresses hope to fully explore the relationship of “Brittana,” as the sexually experimental duo was dubbed. “We just shot a scene yesterday that I’m excited for the fans to see,” she says. “People don’t want their relationship to be a joke. They want it to be real. It had an impact on people.”
Brittany’s signature non sequiturs (“Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?”), delivered by the acting newbie with the aplomb of Bill Murray, have earned her scores of followers. She admits, though, that it was another pop superstar who helped showcase the full range of her talents: Britney Spears, who made a guest appearance last fall in the episode “Britney/Brittany.” When Morris belted out “I’m a Slave 4 U” while gyrating in Spears’s slinky costumes — complete with a huge yellow python — her character fully came to life.
“That episode was a game-changer,” Morris says. “People didn’t just think about Brittany. People wanted to know who I was.”

Heather looked adorable in last night’s episode of Glee! Check it out!
Here’s what the 24-year-old Glee actress, dancer, and singer had to share with the mag:
On why she thinks people are so passionate about Glee: “I think our generation is definitely more open and accepting. But more so, we have technology and music – and people cling to the music most. When things are down economically, people reach for something else, and I think people like the show because it keeps their spirits up. A lot of people tell me that they come home and Glee’s the thing that keeps them going. We don’t have many positive TV shows anymore.”
On Brittany’s great one-liners: “I think everybody wants to have a Brittany-ism! She can say any random thing and it’s funny. I look forward to [the lines] I have to say.”
On crazy rumors: “Not that I need to clear this up, but I did think it was funny when there was a picture taken where I had a great bra on and they said I got a boob job because I was famous now. I was like, ‘What?’”
